Screwed directly into the pure water outlet of the Membrane Housing, it acts as a one-way security door. When the Booster Pump pushes pure water into the tank, the valve opens. The moment the pump stops, the internal spring snaps the valve shut, trapping the pressure in the tank and preventing the water from rushing back into the membrane.
